Breakfast is the most important meal of the day, that’s why we make it special.
We only use the highest quality, locally sourced ingredients*, for example, our eggs come from the Oxford REAL egg. A mini enterprise set up in 2013 by FarmAbility, which is a day service on a working livestock farm in Wytham for adults with autism and learning disabilities.
Our eggs are free range, organic and sourced locally less than 4 miles away from the guest house.
We serve both full English and continental breakfasts and most specialist dietary requirements can be catered for with prior notice.
*subject to availability
FarmAbility runs an outdoor, practical and learning programme on FAI Farms in Wytham, supporting adults with autism and learning disabilities (‘co-farmers’) to improve their physical health and their well-being, while increasing their independence, and gaining practical skills.
We believe that adults with autism and learning disabilities should have access to meaningful activities that enable them to participate actively in their communities, and help them to take steps forward in their lives.
FarmAbility co-farmers are involved in collecting eggs, checking, grading, sorting and packing them –and in delivering them to valued and supportive customers around Oxford. If you’d like to find out more, please go to: www.farminspirationtrust.org/farmability, or contact Sarah on 01865 245604.
