Our Sixth Form Social Scientists visited HM Prison Shrewsbury, known as 'The Dana,' in December. The Victorian prison, decommissioned in 2013, sits on top of the original Georgian prison and is now open to the public.
Our students were able to experience being locked in a cell, visit the execution room and get a glimpse in to the life of a prisoner - all in minus 7 degrees and wearing delightful orange boiler suits!
